We are launching an ‘Online Certificate Issuance’ service so that you can easily obtain certificates via online (PC, mobile) without visiting the hospital.

※ Certificates marked as ‘Re-issuance only’ can only be re-issued for records within 3 years from the original issuance date.

※ If you require original (first-time issuance) documents, please visit the hospital in person.

※ A processing fee of 2,200 KRW is charged per application. Please double-check the required documents before applying.

(Even if you apply for multiple types of documents at once, the processing fee is charged only once.)

What kind of certificates can be issued online?

Yes, you can re-issue copies of outpatient receipts, detailed statements of medical expenses, as well as attendance confirmations, surgery confirmations, medical certificates, and medical opinions. However, re-issued copies of documents can only be applied for online if they were issued within the last 3 years.

Can I apply for a medical certificate online if it's my first time getting one?

No, it is not possible. If you need an original document issued for the first time, you must visit the hospital in person to obtain it. The online service is only provided for receipts and re-issuance of copies of previously issued documents.

How much is the online certificate issuance fee?

A document issuance agency fee of 2,200 KRW will be charged per application. Even if you apply for several types of documents at once, the issuance agency fee will only be charged once, so it is recommended to apply for all necessary documents together.

When will the certificate be issued after I apply?

If you apply before 12 PM on a weekday, it will be issued by 5 PM on the same day. If you apply after 12 PM, the issuance will be completed by 5 PM on the next business day. Issuance services are not available on weekends and public holidays.

Is it possible to issue certificates on weekends or public holidays?

No, issuance is not possible on weekends and public holidays. Additionally, the Jongno Center does not process issuance on Tuesday afternoons, and the Gangnam Center does not process issuance on Thursday afternoons, so please avoid these times for smooth processing.
